What this policy covers
This policy explains what information Brookings Concrete collects when you use our website, how we use it, how long we keep it and what you can ask us to do with it. It applies to this site, starting at our home page, and to the calls, texts and emails that come from someone finding us here.
We're a concrete contractor in Brookings, SD, and a local crew, not a data company. We collect what we need to answer your question, set up an estimate and do the job, and not much more.
This policy was last updated November 7, 2026.
Information you give us
Most of what we know about you is what you tell us. When you fill out the estimate form, call us at (605) 401-5479 or email us, you usually give us your name, phone number, email address, the address of the property and a description of the work, such as a cracked driveway or a new patio. You might also send photos of the slab or the area.
Our contact form is run by Tally, an outside form service, so what you type into it goes to Tally first and then to us. Tally handles that information under its own privacy policy as well as this one.
Please don't send payment card numbers, Social Security numbers or other sensitive details through the form or by email, because we never need them to give you an estimate.
Information collected automatically
Like most websites, ours may collect some basic information when you visit. That can include the type of device and browser you use, the pages you look at, how long you stay, the site that sent you here and a general location based on your internet connection. We use this to see which pages people find useful and where the site needs fixing.
This information may come through analytics tools and cookies, which are small files your browser stores so a site can remember a visit or count traffic. Some cookies are set by the outside services that run parts of the site, such as analytics or the contact form.
You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. The site will still work for reading pages and calling us, though some features, like the form, may not work as smoothly.
How we use your information
We use what you give us to reply to you, schedule an estimate, come out to look at the job, prepare a quote, do the work and follow up afterward. We may also use it to keep records of past jobs, which helps if you call about the same slab later.
We use the automatic information to understand how the site is used and to keep it running and secure.
We don't sell your personal information, and we don't rent or trade it to other businesses for their marketing.
Who we share it with
We share information only when it's needed to run the business or do your job. That includes the service providers behind our website, form, email and analytics, and, if your job needs it, suppliers or a permit office that has to know the property address.
We may also share information if the law requires it, to protect our rights or safety or those of others, or if the business is ever sold or reorganized, in which case this policy would still apply to what we collected.
How long we keep it
We keep estimate requests and job records for as long as we need them to serve you, answer questions about past work and keep the business and tax records the law expects. Requests that never turn into a job are usually cleared out sooner.
Analytics information is kept in summary form and is not used to identify you personally.
Your choices and rights
You can ask us what personal information we have about you, ask us to correct it or ask us to delete it. We'll do that unless we have to keep certain records by law or to finish work you've hired us for.
If we ever send you messages you don't want, tell us and we'll stop. Depending on the state you live in, you may have other rights under that state's privacy laws, and we'll honor any request those laws give you.
This site is meant for adults arranging work on a home or property. We don't knowingly collect information from children under 13, and if we learn we have, we'll delete it.
How we protect your information
We keep your information in the accounts and tools we use to run the business, and only the people who need it to handle your job can see it. No website or email system is perfectly secure, so we can't promise that nothing will ever go wrong, but we take reasonable care with what you send us.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy when the site or the way we work changes. When we do, we'll post the new version on this page and change the date at the top of it.
How to raise a privacy concern
If you have a question about this policy or want to make a request about your information, call us at (605) 401-5479 or reach us through our contact page. Tell us what you're asking for, and we'll get back to you.
